The first 10 days after the procedure
In the first few days, the scalp is sensitive and slightly red, with small scabs around the follicles being normal.
- Avoid direct sun exposure during this phase
- Avoid heavy sweating and touching the treated areas
- Most redness and scabbing subsides within 10–14 days
- You receive precise instructions directly from our team
Washing, care, and what to avoid
Your first hair wash follows precise instructions, usually with a special, mild shampoo.
- Very gentle movements so freshly placed grafts aren't dislodged
- No exercise causing heavy sweating in the first few weeks
- Avoid saunas, sunbeds and alcohol
- These measures protect the healing process
When does the result become visible?
Many transplanted hairs initially fall out 2–4 weeks after the procedure — this is completely normal.
- The hair follicles themselves remain and simply enter a resting phase
- New growth usually begins from the third month onward
- The final, dense result typically appears after 10–12 months
- Patience in the first few months is part of the normal process
Why personal aftercare on-site matters
Especially in the first few weeks, questions can come up that are best resolved in person.
- Your entire treatment, including aftercare, takes place in Cologne
- A fixed point of contact on-site at all times
- No time difference or language barrier
- No long waits for an email reply from abroad
