How the Treatment Works
During a hair transplant, your own hair follicles are taken from a dense donor area, usually the back of the head, and placed precisely into thinning or bald areas.
- Individual follicles are extracted from the genetically resistant donor area
- Transplantation with DHI (direct implantation) or Sapphire FUE (channel opening with a sapphire blade)
- Local anesthesia makes the procedure largely pain-free
- Usually completed in a single day, depending on the number of grafts
Who It's Suitable For
A hair transplant is best suited for people with stable, permanent hair loss and a sufficiently dense donor area.
- Hereditary, permanent hair loss (androgenetic alopecia)
- Sufficiently dense donor area, usually at the back of the head
- A stable hair loss pattern, so the plan holds up over time
- Good general health
Aftercare & Healing
Aftercare starts right after the procedure and continues until the final result becomes visible after 10–12 months.
- Initial redness and scabbing usually subside within 10–14 days
- Gentle first hair wash according to our team's detailed instructions
- Most transplanted hairs shed again after 2–4 weeks — this is completely normal
- New growth usually begins around the third month
